Photographer of the Month- Lee Sladder

Having grown up in Cape Town, South Africa I have become very appreciative of my surroundings and natural world from a young age. This led to a love of the outdoors and wildlife, and ultimately resulted in me learning photography so that I could document my time spent travelling and in the bush.

I became obsessed with photographing the natural world and the skills I have been able to develop have resulted in many of my images winning local and international competitions including a top award in the 2009 BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

My work has been exhibited worldwide and been published in many books and magazines. I have travelled extensively around the world in pursuit of perfect images.
