The choice of activities is varied, whether whale-watching (in season) to scuba diving and snorkelling. There is also the opportunity to explore Ilha Caldeira and other islands in the archipelago in the company of a resident environmentalist, finding out more about the resident flora and fauna. Additional on offer are kayaking and exploration of the nearby shipwreck of the historical Dutch MS Brastagi, which sunk in 1947.
