There are several charity groups that make a big difference to uplifting communities in Cape Town. The Earthchild Project, focuses on the holistic development of children, teachers, schools and communities. The Lalela Project provides educational arts for children affected by abject poverty through art, music and ideas. Streetsmart SA is engaged in active development projects. Solomon’s Haven and Hope for the Children in Tamboerskloof provide a refuge for orphaned children from the townships.
On the conservation side, SANCCOB Sea Bird Centre provides penguin and pelagic bird rescue all along the vast coastline.
StopRhinoPoaching works to combat the alarming wide-scale poaching of threatened rhinos for the horn trade. In response to what we believe is fast becoming one of the greatest environmental tragedies of our times, Timeless Africa Safaris donates a portion of all our bookings to this worthy cause.
