This trip initially came to us way back in September of 2020, as a referral from a past Honeymoon couple who had a wonderful time in South Africa and wanted their friends to experience the same.
2 guests from Arkansas, looking for an Adventure style honeymoon in South Africa. They have never used a travel agent before and needed some reinsurance on why this really is a great idea to have someone local working on your trip.
The planning then went quiet with all the Covid madness, and the clients contacted us again only end of September in 2021, to plan for their trip for November in 2021. (It seems many guests now prefer to plan last minute.) We had just over a month to plan a magical South Africa Honeymoon adventure!
And what a pleasure it was to deal with Matt & Brittaney. They were just so excited about everything, a real easy crowd.
They were looking for adventure, outdoors, culture and good quality without going over the top.
4 nights in Cape Town at our favourite Ocean view hotel – The Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront
Day trips in Cape Town, a walking foodie (and drinks) tour to experience Cape Town as a local.
2 nights at Babylonstoren, a working farm in the wine country which Matt & Brittaney loved! (They also loved all the wine in the region and had two full days to make the best of it 😉)
Then off to safari with a combination of two different safari experiences, first a tented safari camp (Tanda Tula Safari camp) , and then finishing off with a more structured safari lodge (andBeyond Ngala Safari Lodge)
