As you float along in a traditional dugout Mokoro canoe, you pass islands swaying with palms. Surrounded by crystal clear waters that teem with hippos and crocodiles, you will witness an array of wildlife and birds along the banks. Expect to see all of the iconic big game, and some really unusual sights like lions swimming the channels, as these super predators have adapted their hunting methods to the environment even taking to swimming in search of prey.

Cheetah, leopard, large herds of elephants and packs of wild dogs wander in and out of the Mopane woodlands along the water courses. Botswana’s exclusivity and low volume tourism policy also ensures that you are able to enjoy each sighting at your own pace and have most of these extraordinary encounters pretty much to yourselves.
