THE EXPERIENCE

Located off the coast of Mozambique, the Bazaruto Archipelago is a group of six landmasses creating a protected National Park without roads, shops or tourist attractions. The second largest island of the Bazaruto Archipelago, Benguerra is famous for its towering sand dunes, inland lakes and idyllic beaches. Having been a National Park since 1971, it is home to over 140 bird species and the azure waters surrounding the island host the rare dugong and one of the most pristine coral reefs in the world.
