It’s been said that South Africa has some of the most incredible resorts in the world, and according to the latest Condé Nast Traveler readers’ choice awards, it’s not just all talk – For their 34th annual Readers’ Choice Awards survey, hundreds and thousands of registered Condé Nast Traveler voters weighed in on their favourite resorts in the world… 5 of them are in South Africa and a total of 12 in Africa

AND finally… The World’s 100 Best Restaurant Awards ceremony took place on October 5 2021 in Flanders and saw South Africa’s saw 3 restaurants placed in the Top 100 and 1 in the Top 50.

  • #50th: Wolfgat: The restaurant, situated in the picturesque fishing-village of Paternoster, focuses on seasonally driven cooking using hyperlocal west coast ingredients and is run by chef Kobus van der Merwe.
