Jack’s Camp

Sitting in a grove of mokolwane palm trees with a sweeping view of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Jack’s Camp is reminiscent of a traditional 1940s East African safari settlement. Dark wood, colonial-era antiques and Persian rugs lend an air of nostalgic grandeur to the green canvas tents, which include a communal dining tent decked out with silver cutlery and crystal glasses, an elegant billiard room and lounge, and a spectacular swimming pool pavilion.

Each of the nine tented suites includes an ensuite bathroom and alfresco shower with a private veranda and canopied four-poster beds. With no electricity on-site, the flicker of paraffin lamps after sunset adds to the romance of this otherworldly desert experience which offers guests absolute peace and quiet.
