The Giraffe Manor is a small, exclusive and elegant hotel, renowned for its resident giraffe herds. The rare Rothschild giraffe that live in the garden come calling on the house, peering in the upstairs windows and downstairs doorways. It is the only place in the world that you can feed giraffe from your second floor bedroom window; a unique African travel experience.
The manor house is surrounded by indigenous forest where guests may wander to view warthog, bushbuck and more than 180 species of birds. The 1930’s stone building is a beautiful home comprising six luxurious bedrooms, all exquisitely furnished, with large four-poster beds, antique furnishings and striking Art Deco bathrooms. Two of the rooms convert to a family suite, while the rear of the house has a large extension ideal for older children. Wellness treatments as well as exercise sessions can be arranged upon request.
