Nyungwe Forest Lodge, the only five-star Lodge in Rwanda, is set in a tea plantation on the edge of the rain forest in the Nyungwe National Park, just 250 kilometres from Kigali and offers guests a luxury African travel experience.
The forest is home to thirteen primate species including chimpanzees and also offers world-class birding with over 275 species and an equally rewarding plant life, including 140 types of orchids. The Park also offers a canopy walk set 50 meters above ground. Lodge facilities include a heated infinity pool, boma, restaurant overlooking the tea plantation, conference room, tea lounge where guests can enjoy daily tea ceremonies, bar, as well as a spa and fitness centre.
