Nestled on a tender slope of the undulating hills above the flat plains of Madikwe, the earthy plastered walls, rough wooden beams and pointed roofs and chimneys of the Madikwe Safari Lodge blend naturally into their surrounding bushveld. Each room overlooks the grand vista of the purple-hued Dwarsberg Hills, as well as the Marico River that weaves through the seemingly never-ending landscape.
Three exclusive camps, totalling just 20 suites, feature a simple yet sophisticated Madikwe style. The living rooms are filled with beanbags, swinging chairs and cushions scattered directly on the floor, reflecting the relaxed and comfortable ambience of the lodge. Each very spacious suite features a circular fireplace in the bedroom, a dressing area with personal bar, an outdoor shower and French doors opening onto a wooden deck leading to an inviting plunge pool. The rooms are organic in design and woven copper screens add unique detail. Children are welcome at the lodge.
