Inyati Game Lodge is situated in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Wildtuin which is a private game reserve sharing a common unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. The richness and diversity of the surrounding habitats and the experience and knowledge of the staff combine harmoniously to provide visitors with an intimate African safari experience. The reserve has a dense concentration of wildlife and is home to the Big 5 – elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. Cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wild dogs and a vast variety of antelope and other species may also be closely observed, free roaming within their own territories. Inyati is also one of the best places in the world to get up close and personal with the elusive leopard.
The lodge consists of three luxury family chalets and eight luxury standard chalets, all tastefully furnished with uninterrupted views of the African bush overlooking the Sand river. Four Executive chalets have a king size bed, indoor and outdoor showers, a large sunken bath as well as front and back patios. In between guided safari excursions, guests may enjoy a workout at the gym, peruse and select an excellent variety of South African wines from the walk-in wine cellar or relax whilst fishing in the Sand River and on barge cruises.
