Amid the wild, expansive plains of the world renowned Serengeti, Singita Sabora Tented Camp dishes up abundant doses of romance, exploration and intrigue.
Located in Singita Grumeti, this 1920’s style explorer’s camp brings to mind a bygone era. Reminiscent of lavish canvas sanctuaries, nine 1920’s-styled tented suites offer private bathrooms, open-air showers and viewing decks. Epitomizing opulent luxury, these are bedecked with antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs, silk curtains and other finery.
After an exhilarating game drive guests may sip sundowners on the deck and gaze over the waterhole, or relax on a shaded daybed overlooking the plains. Chefs delight in creating delicious feasts using locally grown organic produce, coupled with vintage wines – served in surprise settings. Dining may take place beneath a lamp-lit acacia or under the boughs of a large ‘Sausage’ tree, with starlit skies above and the distant chorus of nocturnal creatures providing an African safari symphony.
