Set in 50 acres of sprawling gardens with stunning views over a sweeping bend in the Zambezi River, this owner-run lodge has eleven private and spacious west-facing suites overlooking the water. The main lodge building is a charming, colonial-style villa converted from the original farmhouse which was built in 1948. It provides a central hub for guest activities (or lack thereof!) and is the location for most meals which are served on the elegant terrace, in the large dining room or alfresco by the pool.
Just 18 kilometers upstream from Victoria Falls, it is an excellent base from which to explore the area. Guests are encouraged to relax as much as possible but for those with energy to burn, the team will happily arrange fishing trips, river safaris, community visits and game drives.
