Singita Pamushana Lodge

Perched high against sandstone cliffs within 150 000 acres pristine land on the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve in south-eastern Zimbabwe, Singita Pamushana’s bold design incorporates the majestic scale of the terrain.

While six luxurious suites and a magnificent 5-bedroomed villa vividly reflect the tribal history of the local Shangaan people, the main lodge has three lounges and an impressively stocked wine cellar. Lodge facilities also include a bush spa and gymnasium, two heated swimming pools and a Jacuzzi. Game viewing safaris, sunset cruise excursions, bush walks and tiger fishing perfectly offset afternoons spent reclining alongside the pool, inhaling nature’s majestic vistas.

Teeming with wildlife and ancient San rock art, with all profits generated here invested in community, wildlife and conservation projects, it is deserving of the title Global Winner, Conservation Category in the World Travel & Tourism Council’s Tourism for Tomorrow Awards 2011
